  We were regular users of the private swimming pool located at this B&B, and were always very considerate of the other swimmers. When leaving, we would be extra careful to make sure that the place was left clean and tidy, ready for the next group.
  In all of this time we were never once approached by the owners - no 'hellos' or 'thank yous' - the only communication would be E-mails confirming payment and strange 'passive-aggressive' notes that would be left on a table next to pool.
  
  A few months ago, my in-laws and my two godchildren had been for their usual weekly swim - on the way out they were suddenly stopped in the driveway by the owners of the property. Apparently a complaint had been made against us by another swimmer. My in-laws were given no time to respond to this accusation - instead they were forced to sit in the car as the B&B's owners became increasingly loud and aggressive, seemingly oblivious to the fact that they were upsetting the two small children sitting in the back-seat of the car. In the end, the safest option was simply to drive away - and to stay away.
  
  Honestly, if this is how they run their pool 'business' then I can only shudder at the thought of the type of treatment that the paying B&B guests must receive.
